Year 10 Arnhem Land Trip

Our Year 10 students recently spent an unforgettable week with the Yolngu people in North East Arnhem Land. It was a rich and powerful experience that left a lasting impact on both students and staff.
As Eleanor (Yr 10) shared, “The rich history and culture shared by the indigenous elders opened us up to a newfound empathy, care and interest into the real history of our country, paving the way for a new light within us to shine, a light of power and a light of responsibility to educate others and change society’s views on the Indigenous peoples and their rights and freedoms.”
Check out this short video, beautifully created by William (Yr 10), for a glimpse into another powerfully moving Redlands learning experience.
