The final Voice Notes event for 2026 brought the Redlands community together for an insightful and uplifting conversation on ‘Hope in Hard Times’. Hosted by Rachael Riley, the panel featured Natalie Kyriacou OAM, James Spenceley and Suzie Barnett, who shared personal stories of curiosity, courage and following their passions to make a difference.

Against a backdrop of constant negativity and division, the conversation offered a different perspective. The panellists explored how hope can be sustained through action, purpose and a willingness to engage with the challenges around us, reminding us that optimism is not about ignoring what is difficult, but choosing to believe we can make things better.
