Redlands Recognised as a 2026 5-Star Best School by The Educator

Redlands has been named one of Australia’s 5-Star Best Schools for 2026 by The Educator, recognising the School’s commitment to academic excellence, student wellbeing, innovation and holistic development.

The national recognition celebrates 33 schools demonstrating a strong commitment to student success across a broad range of areas, recognising that excellence in education extends well beyond academic results.

The Educator’s 5-Star Best Schools program assesses schools across six equally weighted areas: innovative extracurricular programs, comprehensive student support, safety and wellbeing, technology in learning, diversity and inclusion, and holistic student development.

For Redlands, the recognition reflects an approach to education that is centred on knowing each student, developing their individual strengths and preparing them to make a meaningful contribution in a rapidly changing world.

From the classroom to the sporting field, performing arts, leadership opportunities and experiential learning programs, Redlands students are encouraged to explore their interests, challenge themselves to achieve personal excellence and truly let their light shine. The School’s commitment to innovative learning is also reflected in programs that extend learning beyond traditional classroom boundaries. Through initiatives such as the High Country Campus at Moonbah, international and cultural experiences, entrepreneurship, technology and future-focused learning, students are given opportunities to apply their knowledge in authentic settings to ensure students are well-prepared to make the most of opportunities and meet the challenges of life after school .

Student wellbeing is equally central to the Redlands experience. The School’s coeducational environment supports students to develop confidence, resilience and a strong sense of belonging, while its broad range of pastoral, leadership and community programs helps students grow as individuals as well as learners.

The Educator’s 2026 report highlights a changing understanding of what defines an exceptional school, with academic achievement remaining important but increasingly complemented by a focus on wellbeing, technology, inclusion, community and the development of capabilities that students will need beyond school.

This philosophy closely reflects Redlands’ commitment to preparing students not simply for their next stage of education, but for a future that will require adaptability, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration and a willingness to embrace new possibilities.

Redlands is proud to be recognised among Australia’s 5-Star Best Schools for 2026.
