Redlands Hosts World Ocean Day Event
To mark World Ocean Day, Redlands students joined peers from Radford College, Barker College, Newcastle Grammar and Oxley College (our Round Square partner schools) for a day focused on marine conservation.
Through Kal Glanznig‘s documentary Rising Up and a Q&A, students explored how they can protect ocean health. In student-led workshops, they tackled real-world issues like plastic pollution and habitat loss, and honed their public speaking and problem-solving skills.
An inspiring day of action, reflection and connection – and a great example of the Round Square IDEALS in action. Redlands is part of Round Square, a global network of schools committed to character development and experiential learning.
