We recently celebrated 139 years of Redlands with a number of events, the highlight being the Foundation Day Service on Friday. We were delighted to hear from Emeritus Professor Merilyn Sleigh (Redlander 1964), who became the UNSW’s first female Dean when she was appointed Head of the Faculty of Life Sciences in 1997, and she was also awarded a Centenary Medal in 2002. Professor Sleigh shared some very important lessons from her entrepreneurial journey with the Year 7 and 11 students.
