Secondary School Environment Captains, Iris Buisman and Jacob Gold, invited The Hon Zali Steggall MP to speak at our assembly this week, as part of their launch of Greenlands Week, with a focus on our local environment as well as fundraising for the Northern Rivers Wildlife Hospital. Iris and Jacob have demonstrated passionate and enthusiastic leadership in this important portfolio which was reflected in their speeches.

Ms Steggall challenged the students to not underestimate what they could achieve and to always aim high, setting stretch goals and to work in areas that they are passionate about. A big thank you to both the School Environment Captains and Ms Steggall for contributing to such a fantastic initiative.
