2023 Redlands HSC Results
Congratulations to our Year 12 2023 HSC students on their impressive results in the Higher School Certificate exams.
We are exceptionally proud of our HSC students. As a cohort, they have been exemplary role models who have led the School with authenticity and a positive school spirit, embodied in their motto, “Fall Forward”.
The cohort has demonstrated significant academic growth and personal bests, and we especially congratulate our three HSC All-Rounders, Ryan Chen, Briar Carter and Madison Hungerford, as well as the following students who also received an ATAR of 97+, on their outstanding results:
- Ryan Chen, HSC All-Rounder, who achieved an ATAR of 99.10, with top band results in his five courses
- Briar Carter, HSC All-Rounder, who achieved an ATAR of 98.00, with top band results in six of her courses
- Taylor Riddell, who achieved an ATAR of 97.85, with top band results in five of her courses
- Kieran Alexandratos, who achieved an ATAR of 97.15, with top band results in three of his courses
- Charlotte Morrison, who achieved an ATAR of 97.15, with top band results in four of her courses
- Isabella Treloar, who achieved an ATAR of 97.10, with top band results in three of her courses
Special congratulations also to the 17 students who received 21 nominations for HSC Showcases for their outstanding major works in Dance, Drama, Music, Design and Technology and Textiles and Design, and to the following three students whose major works were selected for HSC Showcases:
- Samantha Hely, selected for Shape for her Design and Technology major work
- Madeleine d’Almeida, selected for TexStyle for her Textiles and Design major work
- Avalon Thomas, selected for Callback for her Dance Core Composition
From our HSC cohort of 85 students, 43 of them have received 83 early offers to university thus far, with many of them already receiving an offer to enrol in their first choice course next year. This is a significant increase in the number of students receiving early offers from previous years and illustrates how their Redlands education has opened up a broad range of tertiary opportunities already to them where we are confident that they will truly let their light shine in their post school pathways.
These results are reflective of 54% of the Class of 2023, so any statistics and rankings reports in the media will not include the 46% of students who undertook the International Baccalaureate. We will provide the complete picture of the HSC and IB results of the Class of 2023 in early January, after the IB results are received.
