Congratulations to Phoebe Meers who has been awarded the inaugural Peter Lennox Scholarship and will join our Redlands learning community next year.

The Peter Lennox Scholarship is named in honour of our former Redlands Principal, Dr Peter Lennox, who is a very passionate educator and has dedicated all his professional life to finding ways to best develop and prepare young people for their future lives. Dr Lennox retired at the end of last year after 12 years of exemplary service.

An endowment fund for a means-tested Scholarship was launched in 2010 by Dr Lennox with the vision of providing opportunities for exceptionally talented students who will make a strong contribution to both Redlands and our society, as well as enhancing the diversity of our student body.

Our long-term goal is to accumulate funds to be able to permanently offer 15 full time scholarships. For every $1 million raised for the Scholarship Fund, Redlands can use the interest earned by this Fund to offer a scholarship for the entire six years of Secondary School.

Thank you sincerely to all parents, friends, alumni and Class of 2019 for their generous support of this scholarship.
