'Lush'
Lush is a two-dimensional work made from aluminum beer cans. The aluminum is cut into 2 cm squares and arranged to form a repeat surface pattern. Taking advantage of the printed surface of the can the pattern is formed into a grid.
Lucia graduated with a PhD in 2006. She exhibited in curated group exhibitions at the CAST, TMAG Plimsoll Gallery, Hobart "10 Days on the Island" festival in 2005 and 2007 and the Heide Museum of Modern Art, Victoria. In 2007 she was invited to participate in the Contemporary Collections fundraising auction at the NSW Art Gallery. She recently held her first solo exhibition at the Despard Gallery, Hobart.
