Extra-Curricular
Redlands offers an unparalleled range of extra-curricular activities covering all interests from sport to music, performing and visual arts, academic and leadership and camps and community service, providing students with the encouragement to explore their individual interests, talents and passions.
These opportunities provide a stimulating adjunct to the academic curriculum and serve to develop the whole person, building confidence as students develop their skills. They allow students to explore and develop new interests and are a vital part of a well-rounded, lifelong education.
The range of extra-curricular activities includes debating, drama, musical theatre, choir, orchestra, stage band, concert band, ballet & dance, chess, environmental, Duke of Edinburgh, gymnastics and rock climbing.
Highlights include a comprehensive snow sports program, sailing, a Winter School at the High Country Campus and an onsite Ballet and Dance Academy. Activities to further develop leadership and confidence include debating and other academic opportunities such as Mock Trials, Tournament of Minds and the Da Vinci Decathlon.
The diversity of extra-curricular programs is a response to the particular dynamics inherent in the interests of a large co-educational student body.
