Academic Results
2012 HSC/IB Results
We would like to congratulate all Year 12 2012 students upon their results in the HSC and IB examinations. Key highlights are as follows:
- A total of 151 students sat for HSC and IB - 103 HSC and 48 IB
- 6 students achieved an ATAR of over 99
- 27 students achieved an ATAR of over 95
- 58 students achieved an ATAR of over 90
Specific IB Results
- 48 Diplomas awarded
- 69 Grades 7/A awarded - the highest grade in IB
- 42% of students achieved an ATAR of over 95
- 71% of students achieved an ATAR of over 90
- Four students were awarded rare bi-lingual diplomas -in Chinese, Dutch, German and Korean
- Average score equivalent to an ATAR of 93.5
Specific HSC Results
- 71 nominations for the Honours List for achieving over 90 in an individual subject
- Top 10 placing in the State for Textiles and Design
- Drama - One student was selected for OnStage
These results and meritorious achievements are a tribute and testimony to the hard work of the students and their teachers, supported by their parents and families. We extend our very best wishes to all the graduating class of 2012 as they proceed to the next stage of their lives and careers.

NAPLAN
- Reading: 47% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 24% of the State
- Writing: 53% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 20% of the State
- Spelling: 60% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 29% of the State
- Grammar & Punctuation: 44% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared 23% of the State
- Numeracy: 55% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 28% of the State
Year 7
NAPLAN
- Reading: 75% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 34% of the State
- Writing: 49% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 23% of the State
- Spelling: 52% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 37% of the State
- Grammar & Punctuation: 64% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 34% of the State
- Numeracy: 54% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 30% of the State
Year 5

- Reading: 69% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 35% of the State
- Writing: 58% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 23% of the State
- Spelling: 47% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 41% of the State
- Grammar & Punctuation: 62% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 35% of the State
- Numeracy: 53% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 31% of the State

- Reading: 78% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 50% of the State
- Writing: 82% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 57% of the State
- Spelling: 59% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 50% of the State
- Grammar & Punctuation: 77% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 56% of the State
- Numeracy: 65% of students achieved in the top 2 bands compared to 39% of the State
