Higher School Certificate and International Baccalaureate Results for 2015

We would like to congratulate all Year 12 2015 students upon their results in the 2015 HSC and IB examinations. Of a total of 123 students who sat for the HSC and IB (62 HSC and 61 IB students):

  • 8 students achieved an ATAR of 99 or more
  • 19 students achieved an ATAR of 98 or more
  • 33 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or more
  • 58 students achieved an ATAR of 90 or more
IB HighlightsHSC Highlights
  • Olivia Thompson and Tamae Ishikawa achieved top honours with a perfect score of 45/45 (ATAR 99.95)
  • Matthew Clube achieved a near perfect score of 43/45 (ATAR 99.75)
  • Matthew Hoff, Philip Rennemo Henriksen, James Templer and Jiaxin Yu achieved scores of 42/45 (ATAR 99.45)
  • 11% of students achieved an ATAR of 99+
  • 30% of students achieved an ATAR of 98+
  • 49% of students achieved at ATAR of 95 +
  • 80% of students achieved an ATAR of 90+
  • 98 Grades 7/A were awarded – the highest grade in IB
  • 9 students were awarded rare Bilingual Diplomas – in Chinese, Danish, Dutch, Japanese, Spanish and Swedish in addition to English
  • 50% of Year 12 students completed the IB Diploma Programme – 61 students
  • Sonia Kalcina achieved top honours with an ATAR of 99.55, achieving top band results in 7 of her units
  • 3 students achieved an ATAR of 95 or more – Sonia Kalcina, William Gleeson, Taylor Parsons
  • 5 students achieved Top 5 places in the State:
    1st in Japanese Background Speakers: Minami Okubo
    2nd= in Japanese Background Speakers: Ryo Utaki  and Yuna Tsukamoto
    2nd in Swedish Continuers: Julia Gardell
    5th in English Extension: Sonia Kalcina
  • There were 45 listings on the HSC Honour Roll for achieving 90+ in a subject
  • Textiles: Olivia Hutchinson was selected for Texstyle
  • Dance: Lia Pipolo achieved a double nomination for Callback
  • Visual Arts: Chloe Brasier and Blythe Whittle were nominated for ARTEXPRESS
  • 50% of Year 12 students completed the HSC program – 62 students
